With a history dating back to Combat Flight Simulator One and a fondness for the four engine B-17G Heavy in particular it was with enthusiasm IL2 was embraced once it became possible to take our B-17G's up into the virtual skies in what is currently the first choice of WW2 combat flight simulators.

The ability to now fly the B-17 / B-24 / B-29 was only the beginning and now fans of the sim have since created new maps / sounds / aircraft / graphical effects and so much more that has truly breathed new life opening up a world of exciting possibilities for this simulator.

If you enjoy purpose based cooperative missions flying the B-17G Heavy amongst formations of others heading to bomb targets inside fortress Europe - weathering fighter attacks by the Luftwaffe - enduring the flak as you line your bombsite up on the target then you've found the right place.

You'll also fly cooperative missions in Panther Jets over Korea or engage in Jet combat in the Middle East and fly Spitfires or Bf-109's in desperate engagements over the embattled Island of Malta as well as Anti shipping torpedo strikes for the Allies or Axis forces, plus relive other famous air operations that took place during the years 1939 - 1945 including low level bomb runs that emulate the famous Ploesti and Dambuster missions.

The Outcasts enjoy good company - We fly Ultra Pack 2.01 on relaxed settings but all skill levels are welcomed and you'll find we too are still learning, there is no obligation nor a rank structure, just people in their 30's to 60's having a good time, so no matter your level of experience, you'll feel at home amongst these friendly Pirates.
